Essential Broadband network updates around the Island.

During January and February, Manx Telecom will be performing upgrades to the Broadband network around the Island. The work will be undertaken overnight and in stages to minimise disruption to customers.

The updates will require some downtime of up to 20 minutes for Fibre Broadband customers and 120 minutes for Copper customers between midnight and 7am on the day the working is carried out.

Following an update in your area, if your router does not automatically reconnect, please reboot it by turning it off and unplugging it for 10 minutes.

The first update is scheduled for 19th January 2023 with the last update planned for 14th February 2023. A breakdown of all scheduled updates and likely areas impacted is below - this is subject to change. Please be aware that as this is not a street-level breakdown, some properties may be on, or close to an area boundary and may be serviced by a Broadband cabinet in another area.
