Undulating Dial Tone?

Check your voicemail by dialling 121 - this sort of tone could mean you have messages waiting.

No Incoming Calls?

Check to see if your phone has been unplugged by mistake, or the sound has been turned off.

No Dialling Tone or Permanently Engaged To Callers?

First, check that you haven't put your phone on call divert. Then try unplugging everything from your phone sockets: Phones, Sky boxes, Oil tank monitors, etc. Plug them in again one by one, checking each time to see if the fault has returned.
