Impact of changes to roaming tariffs for Vodafone and EE

We are aware that certain UK mobile operators are reducing or removing inclusive EU roaming charges. This will mean that some visitors to the Isle of Man may incur roaming charges, depending on their host provider’s tariffs. It also means that any Isle of Man residents permanently roaming using a UK mobile operator’s SIM card while here, will also incur roaming charges. Customers should also note that many of the main UK operators have in the past year reinforced their permanent roaming terms and conditions. What this means for inbound roamers to the Isle of Man is that if you are permanently roaming for over typically 60 days then, depending on your operator’s terms, they may decide to suspend your service or charge an additional permanent roaming fee.
